This is our final opportunity to demonstrate AGILE and SDCL as related in Team Work-Task-Breakdowns, Task Management and Coordinated Effort. AND in this final TEAM effort we get to use, actually are required to use the Standard University Team Evaluation Form which is attached with the Instructions to this assignment.

In the industry in which we wish to or do work the job is not done until the paperwork is done 🙂

QA in systems development is a set of processes that ensure the delivered systems meet the pre-defined expectations and not Questions and Answers. Note that QA is not just testing.

So without further adieu…

The Director of Software Engineering(C-Suite Level and around $160,00/year) needs your help assisting the Development Team ($45K to around $95k depending on the GS number) using the appropriate QA processes. The Director wants you to send out an email to the team titled “Software Quality Assurance: Processes” and tools to ensure quality results.

Write a 1- to 2-page email using Microsoft® Word in which you do the following:

  • Explain how the development process can benefit from software QA and why it is important to follow QA processes.
  • Provide an example of what happens when QA policies are not followed.
  • Briefly explain the following attributes in the Quality Attributes Table worksheet:
  • Functional attributes
  • Operational attributes
  • Usability attributes
  • Business attributes
  • Structural attributes
  • Explain 2 QA tools.

Note: Discuss these topics in the order listed in the question. Clearly identify each topic and then provide your answers in the document.

The team will submit one completed assignment for the team.

This assignment will help you complete this week’s Individual Assignment.

Submit the team assignment.
