DUE: THE WEDNESDAY AFTER WEEK 1 BY 10:00AM

NOTE: OOCs are done in exchange for us not meeting for class on Fridays.  OOCs also allow you to prepare for class the following week.  Plan on spending about 2 hours on each OOC assignment.

It is recommended, but not required, that you have already read Chapter 1 in your text before attempting this assignment.  You may want to get all of the videos ready, then open the Week 1 OOC quiz, and take the quiz while watching the following videos and reading the posted articles.  All the questions come directly out of the videos and articles (not the textbook).

5) Read the “Twin Article” posted beneath this assignment on D2L.

6) Then go to the “Quizzes” tab on the toolbar of our D2L site.  Click on the “Week 1 OOC Quiz” and complete this 14 question quiz by the deadline (Wednesday by 10:00am).  You will have 120 minutes to complete the quiz.  You may want to start the quiz while you are watching the videos, as the questions come directly from these videos.  Please note that the questions come from a large test bank and will be randomized, so that every student’s exam will be different.

7) Complete Learning Curves 1a and 1b in LAUNCHPAD by Wednesday, 10:00am. 3 points each (6 points total for completing these 2 Learning Curves).  You can find a link to all the Learning Curves (LCs) in the “Learning Curve Assignments” folder in the bottom of this OOC Assignments folder.
