Need an analysis of Platos Euthyphro and the multiple definitions of piety

In class, we discussed two interpretations of Euthyphro’s third definition of piety (we called them 3A and 3B). What are these two interpretations? Briefly explain how/why they are different. Why does Socrates reject 3B? Explain. Although they don’t discuss 3A, we argued in class that 3A is also problematic. Why? What is wrong with 3A?

The third definition of piety is two parts when euthyphro says

3A: x is pious because it is loved by all the gods

3B: x is loved by the gods because it is pious
