Breast complaints are common across the lifespan, and it is imperative for the nurse practitioner to be comfortable in assessing, diagnosing, and treating breast complaints.

Discussion: 

1. Discuss any encounters you have had with patients who have had breast concerns. (USE EXAMPLE: PATIENT WITH FIBROCYSTIC BREASTS).

2.  Review the evidence-based guidelines for evaluating and treating breast conditions.

3. How did you approach the assessment and the evaluation of breast complaints seen in the clinic setting?

Prepare a 10-minute presentation (10-15 slides, not including title or reference slide) on organizational culture and values.

1. Describe how alignment between the values of an organization and the values of the nurse impact nurse engagement and patient outcomes.
2. Discuss how an individual can use effective communication techniques to overcome workplace challenges, encourage collaboration across groups, and promote effective problem solving.
