Marketing Analysis of Use of Video

Identify three (3) musicians or bands utilizing video for marketing purposes. Compare their tools and techniques for creating, sharing, and getting overall visibility for their videos. In your analysis, address the following questions:

  • What does or does not make these video campaigns compelling to their core audiences?
  • Are they collecting permission-based contacts (ie. email addresses, cell numbers, or other kinds of direct contact methods) as part of the campaigns? How are they doing this? Are they doing so in other areas of their marketing?
  • Is there any social component to the campaigns and, if so, how effective is it?
  • What recommendations would you make to improve the effectiveness of each campaign?
