Please give short 1-2 paragraph response:
Last January, my class was asked to participate in the community’s celebration of the life and achievements of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. I decided to have my students sing, “We Shall Overcome, which was the anthem of the Civil Rights movement. During the Civil Rights Movement of the time, that song allowed for community and participation for the individual. The cause became greater than the individual which made it so powerful. His participatory form of leadership allowed that to formulate and grow. How would that style of leadership work in a local school? Are there schools better suited for that style of leadership than others?
