Assignment:
For this assignment, you will be placed (virtually) in a real-world scenario that occurs in schools. Please read the following description of the authentic performance task and complete the requirements as described in the scenario.
SCENARIO
“You are an educational consultant who has been hired by a school district to design its preschool room. They would like for you to create a manual to guide their selection of classroom learning materials, furniture, and toys. The superintendent has asked you to address the following areas as you design the manual. The focus should be on designing both an indoor and outdoor learning environment.
- What would you include?
- What safety protocols would be in place?
- What materials would you use?
- How would your design look?
- How would you follow the ideas outlined in your readings? ”
Be creative, using photograph, clip art and graphics. Your plan should be realistic, coherent, and precise, and should address all required components in a research-based manner using text support and outside research to create a comprehensive informational presentation.
The program description should be 1250-1500 words and should include at least four (4) citations. The sections should be clearly marked with headings so that your instructor knows which points you are addressing. Follow the guidelines for APA writing style. The title page and references page do not count towards the minimum word amount for this assignment
